Question 66' Toronado Dash Wiring Question

Hi Everyone

Just now getting back to wiring the dash back up. Everything wires back up as it should except for these (2) grey wire female connectors (pic attached.)

There is only (1) stud behind the dash and I am guessing the connectors & dash stud are grounds.

The service manual schematic is no help.

The picture is taken from the top looking down. The connectors are in between the (2) multi stud inline dash connectors.

Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance.

Grey wires are usually dash light ccts. for clock, lighter light, speedo, guages etc.

^^^THIS

They are panel light feeds for some instrument or option that you may or may not have. The harness has wiring for all available options, whether installed on this particular car or not.

Thank you guys.

The extra wires for options make sense.
