got my harness working, just useing a battery for now to test things since theres no motor in the car.. anyways i have no lo beams only high beams. the front harness seems to be correct as well as my dimmer switch which dose switch between hi and lo beams but when it gose to lo beams theres just no light.

this is a aftermarket harness dunn dunn dunnnn! but it gm color coded so its not a complete shot in the dark, on my headlight switch there is a green wire, in the instructions for the harness it says "green - to dash light fuse" and i have the green wire connected to the switch what exactly are the insturctions asking me to do to this wire?

It shouldn't be too evil. Remove the batt. and meter (continuity) the dimmer switch circuit testing for what is switching power to where. The low beam circuit must be traceable by testing but don't focus on colors too much, trace point to point chasing it out to the lamp connector or backwards from the lamp back to the switch. I'm assuming there's no relay(s) involved right?

No no relay, i think the issue is at the dimmer switch. When i put the new harness in i basically left most of the connectors alone, just cut the new wires to length and spliced them into the old wires. I checked the grounds and nothing, then i traced the low beam (tan) wire back to the switch, and noticed the terminal was all burnt up on the connecter but just the low beams. Raises a eyebrow if you ask me .Im thinking of sanding the prongs back to metal and trying it again. If not a new dimmer switch and terminal connector might do the trick.

Thanks for the response, electrical is such a PITA!

Since the highs work, the issue is between the dimmer switch to the bulbs.
Do all 4 high beams work or just the inside ones?
The outside bulbs should have 3 wires to each, the inside ones only 2 each.
Use your old harness to verify wire color positions.
