Wiring an original head unit into a modern amp

I have a ‘72 Delta 88 convertible.

i am wanting to keep the OEM AM/FM head unit, but run the high level outputs from the original headunit into a modern Bluetooth amp. The original head unit has common ground outputs and requires 10 ohm speakers.

I plan on installing modern 4 ohm speakers and powering them with the modern amp. Obviously this system uses floating grounds for the speakers. The amp also requires floating ground high level inputs from a head unit if one is used. I found a floating ground adapter, however it is designed to use a floating ground head unit with common ground speaker wiring.

Two questions:

Would it penpossile to just split the common ground output to both input channels on the amp?

And if not:

Is it possible to use the available floating to common ground adapter in reverse?

I guess I don't understand what you want as the end result. Do you plan to use the Bluetooth amp with a phone to play tunes? Or do you want to use the OEM radio to play tunes?

Sound stream makes a 4 channel amplifier that allows line level inputs from a factory head unit as an input to the amp. It also accepts a Bluetooth signal from a phone to stream music as well.

The original stereo has a common ground for the speaker outputs and the aftermarket amp accepts floating ground inputs.

Im wondering if one can simply split the common ground into four wires and hook to the amp.

I've never done this conversion, but that seems like the only real way to do it. Have you tried it out?

Let me see if I understand this. You are trying to make a GM AM/FM radio and 8 ohm speakers sound like an AM/FM STEREO radio and 4 ohm stereo speakers with some new fangled gadgets ?

No, I’m wondering if a can hook a radio with common ground speaker wiring into a modern amps line level inputs which are a floating ground system.

The amp will be wired to modern 4 ohm speakers
