Turn signal switch

Guys,

I'm in the middle of restoring the dash on my '69 442. I have an original design wiring harness from M&H and just purchased a new turn signal switch from the parts place.

Knowing what i know about this repop crap i decided i better test fit the turn signal switch with the new and old harnesses and of course i cant get them to plug together. (the original fits both perfectly). It appears i can grind down some of the plastic on the new switch and maybe make it work. The part numbers match on the new and old part and it looks correct.

When look at the plug in side my side they seem to be off--see pics

Before i start calling around--has anyone had this issue? and is there a place i can get a turn signal switch that is a correct match?

Thanks for the help!

just checked M&H and they have it -- i bet it fits too

actually now i'm answering my own questions-- in the box was an adapter for a service change

I want the original without the adapter which they have at M&H

Another thing you might try is to back the wires out of the new connector and place them in your original connector. If they used the same ends on the wires, that should work, too.
