Turn signal question

I have a 1968, 98. With the left turn signal on I have power to the rear bulb and the front socket is dead. Right turn signal I have power to the front but the back socket is dead. The 4 ways and brakes work. Is there a buss bar somewhere that connects the front and rear and turn signal switch?
Thanks, Rex

Each light housing has it's own connector to the harness. Start there. It's likely that the terminals in the connector are corroded and need to be cleaned. Trace the wiring, working your way back to the turn signal switch until you find where the power stops. Use a test light, not a digital VOM, since the added load of the bulb can help uncover connections with high resistance that will not be found by a low impedance meter.

Hate to say it, but it sounds like the turn signal switch is flaking out on you.
All the connections are made in the switch and running the 4-ways ruled out wiring and bulb issues outside the switch.

BTW, Welcome to Classic Olds!

Thanks

Thank you both. Yea I sort of suspected it was the turn signal switch . I was hoping for something a little simpler but I am looking to replace the steering wheel anyway and that will be a good time to replace the switch.
Thanks, Rex
