Turn signal problem

I have a 1966 Olds 98 and I'm having a problem with the left turn signal not operating properly. The right one flashes but the left is solid. I've checked all the bulbs on the left side and they seem to be fine. The right side clicks from somewhere near the steering column as it flashes but the left is quiet. Anyone have or had a similar issue?

You should test the bulbs not just look at them. You could switch one bulb at a time from right to left. When the flashing switches sides, you know which bulb was bad.

Sounds like a bad bulb. The same flasher operates both sides, so it’s good.
