Unhappy turn signal issues on 1975 Cutlass Supreme

I just bought a nice barn-find 1975 Cutlass Supreme, my name is John, and new on here! Problem is, my turn signals won't flash! All bulbs will light up, but not flash!! First thing I did was replace flasher, without looking ANYTHING else over! The flashers do blink, but not the turn signals! And all bulbs, when activate turn signal, stay on, not flashing!! Thanks in advance! Hope not the switch!

Welcome to the site. Are they incandescent or led's?

Incandesant, all factory, probably most original too!

IIRC it has two flashers, one for turn signal and one for the emergency flasher. It's possible the wrong one was changed. Turn on the emergency flasher, hold the one you changed and see if it clicks. If it does that is the emergency flasher not the turn signal flasher.

There are two signal stats, the one in the fuse box and one clipped near the steering column under the dash. The one in the fuse box is for the 4 ways, the one near the column is the turn signals.

Rather sure they interchange. If the pin/blade is the same you are good to go.
