Hi,

Can't figure out where the thick Purple wire coming from the firewall block goes. It has a loop on the end of it indicating it goes on a screw somewhere. I looked at the wiring diagram from a 71 and it says it goes to the starter solenoid.

I've replaced point distributor with Flamethrower HEI and my old starter with a new smaller high torque version.

Any ideas?
