Dear friends,

This is in 87 Custom Cruiser. The front power switches (the joystick) doesn't work in some directions.

I took it apart to find termite dust in it. Cleaned all with a brush, then kerosene, then alcohol, and lightly scrubbed the oxidization with fine grit sand paper. However, still the joystick doesn't work in 2 directions (down and backwards). I swapped these with the working direction contacts but still no good. Checked continuity on every bit inside out the switch, wires and contacts too but no issues whatsoever. Any tips please? It looks obvious but can't get it right after trying so many times adjusting the contacts.
