1965-68 Power Seat Switch, Yet Again!

Here's a picture of the 6-way power seat switch I need.

It fits in the lower seat molding on driver's side.

.........

Anyone know where I can get one?

Still Looking!

Should be able to get it from any B, C or E body GM car with a six-way seat thru the mid-80s. The plug may be a little different but that's a minor issue. Far as I know the switches were the same whether it was mounted on the seat skirt or on the armrest. My 83 Custom Cruiser uses that same switch.

Can you find me one? I would really appreciate it!

That is the million dollar question, since I never get to go junkyarding any more.

I haven't been in a junkyard in 10 years. None of them round here let you pull parts. Say their liability insurance forbids it.

I gonna try and see if any local scrapyards have any old GM cars!

That's when you tell them they will pull the parts while you watch and make sure everything you want/need is removed.

I expect it's been a good 5 years since I had a chance to go. Half you find are no longer open on Saturdays, and most don't have the good stuff anymore either due to taxes and EPA nonsense.

I'm going to check some of the older junk yards around here. Might find a nice 1972 442!
