Power door locks dont work?

Power door locks dont work?

my power door locks dont wanna work i hit the switch when i was getting out the car and i heard something like a fuse blowing but it wasn't that then i thought might be the relay wasn't that then i tryed to hook them up with out the relay run i wire Straight to it see if it click didn't work ether whats wrong with the door locks and the battery works cas the lights Radio comes on fine not dim are nothing so if you can help thanks


its 1983 oldsmobile delta 88 and all the locks dont work not just one and both the switches dont work so it ant that

Is the fuse blown on that circuit? Do your interior lights (as in dome) still work? If not, there is a very good chance that a wire has lost a little insulation and is shorting out on the inside of the door. I'm pretty sure your Delta is the same. The power door locks and interior lamps are protected by the same fuse. Happened to me on mine and I had to disconnect the courtesy lamp wires, cut out the areas that had shorted and re route it. Haven't had a problem since.
