where is the neutral safety switch located on my 72 cutlass supreme .. column shifter

 

Bottom of the steering column.

 

To clarify, the NSS is on the upper side of the column, near the base of the column just before it passes through the firewall. There will be a two-wire connector with green wires for the backup lights and a two-wire connector with purple wires for the starter circuit.
