Lost 12v at IGN spade on fuse block
Hey guys,
So had my 69 cutlass out last night for a drive. I was backing in to the driveway and the car died suddenly. My first thought was no spark from how it just instantly died. I checked the 12v wire to the HEI from the IGN spade on the fuse block, good continuity but no voltage at all with the key forward in the ignition. in an attempt to get the car back into the garage i jammed the 12v wire to the hei into the hot side of one of the fuses in the block and it fired up fine. Backed into the garage and pulled the wire out of the fuseblock to kill the car. Where does the IGN spade on a 69 Cutlass get it's switched power from and has anyone run into this issue before of losing power to that IGN spade while previously working fine?
