I am working on a 1965 Olds F85 with 225 V-6 and TS300 Jetaway transmission. Recently I upgraded the carb - removing the Rochester and the original kickdown switch. This was a mistake and I want to restore the kickdown switch.
I purchased the switch but need advice how to install with the throttle arm linkage pictured above and how to adjust during setup. Any assistance is helpful (wiring diagram and/or source for linkage). Current photo of 225 V-6 with Universal CHV carb - note the throttle linkage does not have a flat piece for the dashpot to rest against.
