I changed all my bulbs out with 194 bulbs. Nothing worked before other than heater control and now only my tic tok tach lights up and very dim at that have to shut the lights off in the garage basically to see them. i replaced my headlight switch before i did all this and that only gave me my heat control switch lights. My dome light works with door switch and without can anyone give me some advice

 

Is the **** on the headlight switch rotated all the way CCW? There's a dimmer rheostat for those lights built into the headlight switch.

Yeah, but the only difference between 168 and 194 is the wattage. That won't cause them not to work. I usually put 194s in everywhere as they are more common than 168s.

 

with the dimmer turned all the way up its only the lights said from above with it turned all the way back nothing and then past that the dome light comes on. The switch works unlike the old one

 

I just checked it out quick. If i turn it ccw they get brighter and i have a red light under my 60mph if i turn it cw all the way that light goes out and my left turn signal light comes on but doesnt blink

 

You may have some of your connectors/lamps in the wrong positions. The red light (hi beam indicator) should not dim.
