Instrument cluster lights

Whenever I switch on the lights on my 1963 F85 Cutlass Convertible, the R.H. turn signal pilot light is also illuminated. Not the turn signal itself, just the pilot light and this reacts to the dimmer **** as well. With the lights off everything is as it should be regarding turn signal and pilot light.
Do I have a problem with the printed circuit? Or what else could it be?
Thanks, Peter

Thank you for your advice. I may come back to you for pix, but first I'll have to remove the whole thing.

As others said, anytime I experience the weird electrical events, such as yours, I check that there is good ground. Electricity wants follow the shortest path and goes a routing that creates events like yours. Perhaps the instrument lights grounding is the issue, while I suspect grounds the same way the turn signal pilot light does, via the speedometer gauge.
Had a similar situation with my taillights; turns out during reassembly, never got the bumper bolts fully tightened.
