If I have the new horn ring mounted on the column, the turn signal being in engages the horn. Anyone have any good fixes for this issue? I’m stuck. Thanks!

Year, model, steering wheel, and photos would probably help you get useful answers.
Wood grain but it’s the brass ring underneath. I replaced it and bought a new spring and pin for it and when I set it on there and push the horn will work but then it makes a connection with my turn signal arm and when I turn the turn signal on the horn blows.
Then you have a problem with the turn signal switch or how the cancel cam was installed. The cancel cam contacts the brass pin on the turn signal switch. If that cancel spring is out of position, it can touch the brass pin or the slip ring on the underside of the cancel cam, causing the horn to blow. It could also be a short in the horn wire that runs in the turn signal switch harness.
Had a similar problem on my '72 Supreme and after extensive troubleshooting, I figured out that the "insulator" ring was missing from the cancel cam and this caused a dead short to the brass ring in the cam. I would check that.
If you look closely, you can see a portion of the insulator ring I'm talking about.
