Key in, key out,, door open, door closed. Every time I connect power, regardless of where anything is set at. the key buzzer sounds until I disconnect the power again Electrical issues truly are my weak point. How do I make the madness (or buzzer) stop. Thanks for your help. The car is a 70 442 convertible.

 

Disconnect terminal #4 at the relay.

Thanks but is the terminal marked? Which one is #4?

 

Should be the one with the pink/black wire on it. If you pull it and it still buzzes it's a fail inside the relay.

 

Thanks. I will give this a try. If it fails to stop the buzz then it's the second brand new $75 relay that was bad. Actually it would be the third. ON my blue car the horns blew continuously while power was connected. Replacing the relay solved the problem immediately. Pretty irritating to have to replace brand new parts.
