Smile Horn relay

I do have a 1983 Olds Hurst and my horn is not working; I test the horn and they are ok but from the steering column they don't work like they are suppose to. Can any one tell me where to locate the horn relay on my 1983 Hurst?

Not sure where the relay is on an 83 . but have you tested the horn switch itself? 30 years for gunk to build up on the contact could do it. And welcome to the site!

Sorry bro I was out of the country but thanks for the suggestion. I still need to find that relay. Also I am looking for a center console for my 83 Olds/Hurst if you know anyone that has one and wanted to sell it let me know.

Thanks

Cesar

There is a little panel under the dash, just to the left of the steering column. Its not easy to see, really not easy to get to! Before trying to replace the horn relay try grounding the black wire on the turn signal switch harness. If the horn sounds when grounding the wire you know the relay and related wiring is good.
