I'm trying to put the dash back together in my 70 442 convertible before I put it back into the car and I've run into a bit of an issue - I think. The car has the accessory light package so it's my understanding that the "LIGHTS" name above the **** is supposed to light up and tiny hole in the estucheon is supposed to shine light down onto the **** itself. When I took it apart there was no light bulb in the holder and no obvious wires going to that area. Now that I'm trying to put t back together, I really can't figure out how it is supposed to help. The assembly manual is virtually no help and the service manual doesn't seem to even mention it. I've attached a shot of the relevant page in the assembly manual but it really doesn't solve my problem.
How does the light draw power and what kind of bulb is it. My understanding was that it was a 1445 light the glove box uses but that seems to be too small. I'm trying top get the dash reassembled so it can go back to the body shop this weekend. I would really appreciate some guidance.
Here's some pictures from the backside of a dash with the wiring harness hooked up. There's a bullet shaped thing that has a bulb in it, and its got a grey wire running to a portion of the harness that has other lights coming out of it. Check out the photos and let me know if you have any questions.

John, As usual your response and pictures were spot on. You are a real asset to this forum. Thanks so much
Unfortunately, I have nothing in my harness that looks remotely like that. The only single, gray wire lead I find in that area ends in a plastic spade type housing. Not sure of my next steps but suspect it is going to be expensive. Thanks again,
