Gauge Wiring Question

I have a '70 442. I'm putting in Dakota Digital VHX gauges. In looking at the 1970 Olds Cutlass service manual, wiring for the tach isn't shown. Would anyone know what color the tach wire is?

The tach wire is brown - mine is covered in an insulated wrap as well. It is not part of the regular harness.

Turn to Chapter 15 (Accessories) and look at the wiring diagram for the Rally Pac that you will find there.
