front turn signal connector

Anyone know how to remove this connection? Power to the signal was intermittent, now it's nonexistent. At first I could jiggle the wires where they entered the housing and it would work.
Thanks...

You can't, at least not without destroying the housing. That is not a "connector" and is not intended to be separable. Follow those wires the other way and you'll find the real connector.

Or, get another parking light housing (repros are available), unplug this one, plug in the new one.

It may just be that the socket has some corrosion in it and the little springs behind the contacts aren't allowing them to make good constant contact with the bulb base. Remove the bulb and spray some silicone inside the socket and see if you can loosen up the springs by pushing down on the tips and releasing them a few times. I have had to do that with just about every socket on my 66 .........

That was the first thing I tried. It actually turned out to be the connection behind the battery. It was corroded as all get out. Remembered a trick from When I was a [faux] science teacher. I soaked the connections in vinegar and salt and then rinsed and dried. Cleaned them right up. Yay, left turn signal!

Don't forget to put some dialetric grease into the socket. It will help prevent future corrosion.

Yup, did that. But thanks for the reminder.
