Ah you have a good wife, good to hear..... I wouldn't recommend oxycocet or Percocet long term, I don't think the doctors are pushing them like they use to in 2002 onward. They soon found out we were all getting addicted to them. The dosages were going up to tolerate the pain that was caused more from the meds telling the brain the body needed more. My wife helped me get off them but it was a hard road. I wish you all the best
