Electric for my Cutlass 1971

Hello

I have a 1971 Cutlass. I am owner number 20 and every owner before me have done their own electrical wiring. The problem now is that none of my lights work. It began with the taillights stop to work. I drove to my local carworkshop. He began to look at it. Hi told me that its a nest of cables and that he could not fix it. It would be way to expansive for me. He told me that i should buy all electrical wiring like a "bundle" from a shop in the US and then come back. Then he could help me to put it all together.

I have search summitracing for some bundle of cables but i cant find noting. I´m from sweden and dont know exactly witch words to search with.

Can anyone help me find the right article "electrical cable bundle" for my cutlass 1971?

I would be very glad if someone could help me out.

Try Painless wiring. They have what you need.

Keep in mind Painless will not be an exact duplicate of the factory harness. It's fine if you want to modify and add circuits or accessories. I'd go with an M&H harness if you want a factory style replacement http://www.wiringharness.com/ . Search 1971 Cutlass and it will show you everything they make for it.

Painless will be painful to someone without an expanse of electrical knowledge..
American Autowire is said to be the best reproduction plug-in harness available.
http://www.americanautowire.com/factoryfit.html (ignore the stupid 'change your web browser' warning box at every page.)
They may be expensive, but will be easy to install and safe to use.
Fusick sells some replacement harnesses - did you check there?

I think it's cool that you know you're owner number 20! For a '71, that means a change in ownership about once every two years, on average.

It would be fun if you could get all their names, and then you could start a club. Usually, people form a club because they all own the same kind of car.

Your club, on the other hand, would consist of people who owned the SAME car!
