Eelctrical question for '93 Cutlass

I have a 1993 Olds Cutlass Supreme in Excellent condition I just bought. I was browsing the site and was wondering what the cutoff year might be for some technical assistance on an electrical problem. If this is not the right forum for this I will still enjoy browsing the sight. Then could someone point me in the right direction of a site that might help me...

Hi welcome to the site. I guess the cutoff would be the last Olds that was built. So your good.

What kind of electrical problem.

Thankyou for the welcome.

My question is rather odd but maybe someone out there has an idea.

I noticed about 3 weeks ago that when I opened up the drivers door the heater fan was running. The a/c, vent, off switchs etc had no effect. When I turned the key on and off(did not start) it stopped. It did this 2 or 3 times during the week.

Then last weekend while camping I drove on a washboard dirt road. When I got there I noticed a humming sound from the trunk. When I opened it , it stopped. Closed started again. Opened and shut 2 more times same thing. When I got in the car with the trunk shut the blower fan was going. Any one have any ideas?? This is a real problem.... weird but true

I finally had the car fixed today. They said the Blower Motor High Relay was bad. Just thought some one could use this information. See you guys/gals later. Jim

That's weird, it must have been grounding back somehow?
Thanks for the heads up, may save somebody else a lot of hassle someday, like me.

They replaced the blower resistor about 2.5 months ago. Seems fine so far.
