Cigarette ligther
Looking in the book the cigarette lighter does not have a ground attached to it on the original lighter. The replacements have ground attachments. If I have all the doors open and lights on I blow a fuse. I did attach a ground and that seemed to help some what. Anybody have the corect procedure for installing the cigarette lighter properly?

Anything that has 12V power to it has
1. A 12V lead
2. A 12V ground via wire or chassis.
A good policy to follow is:
If it has a ground wire on it, use it.
BTW if you are blowing fuses, it's most likely because your 12V hot lead
is touching metal and grounding out the circuit and blowing the fuse.
