Braking turns on turn signals

Good Afternoon. Trying to narrow some electrical down and I believe I have a LOT of work ahead of me. I have the technical manuals with all wiring diagrams and schematics, but wanted to try here first before tearing into it. So, my issue is when I press on the brakes, both turning signals up front light up. I think someone mixed some wires up and just trying to narrow it down. It’s a 72 Cutlass Supreme Vert. Thanks in advance.

That happens when the hazard button is pressed in. Be sure it is pulled all the way out.

Did you confirm that was the problem? While that's the most likely cause, it isn't the only one.
