American Autowire Customer Service

I bought a defective dash wiring harness from American Autowire a few weeks ago.The rallye gauge connectors were the wrong ones for said harness. They not only replaced the harness, but they compensated me for the "fun" of installing and uninstalling the defective harness.
I have not dealt with any other parts supplier who even comes close to their level of service! Anyone considering replacing any harness in their car should use them. You won't be disappointed!

I told ya.
You almost sold them short out of frustration before giving them a chance.

Yes, I was told...but I did wait until all the dust was settled before passing final judgement! Now, could you please "tell" me where to find a cigarette lighter casing to fit the connector.

And for the good reason that so many places will try to give their customers the shaft. I expect the worst from places now days and if they do end up doing me good, that is a huge unexpected bonus (even though that is what they SHOULD do.)

Glad it all worked out for you!!

Now if only I had that kind of luck with the crappy power window regulators I bought from a different place...

I bought a Classic Update kit for my ElCamino not too long ago.
While I had it out making some minor modifications, one of the
unique connectors was damaged.
I called one of the tech guys that is a frequent visitor/poster
to Team Chevelle & Chevy Talk----and he is sending another connector.

He says "No problem, at least you were honest about the harness getting to you in one piece and that it was damaged at home.".
