Adding MSD Ignition?

All,

Where is an easy place to splice into to connect the MSD ignition terminal to on a 1972 Cutlass 350? The diagram on the MSD box shows a red wire from the key ignition connecting directly to the MSD IGN terminal and another wire from the key ignition going to 12 Volts. Is there somewhere on the firewall that I can splice into for the red wire?

Thanks

Go directly to the fuse box and find a spade terminal thats powered when the ignition is on with the key in run and start.

Would the spade terminal between the words HAZ and DIR SIG work for the red wire running to the ignition terminal on my MSD unit?

Put a meter on it and make sure you have battery voltage there with the key on and in the start position. Make sure the voltage goes to 0 in the key off and accessory postion.
