Looking for some help with my ignition install. I got a 71 olds cutlass w/455, i just had motor overhauled and put in new pro -billet ready to run distributor PN 8529. kit comes with new wires distributor and blaster coil, i hooked everything up to msd instructions and i have power to to of cap from coil wire and nothing to spark plug wires can anyone help me.

 

So are you saying the coil is sending spark to the cap but it's not making it out to the plug wires?
If that's the case then it would have to be something with the cap and/or rotor.

 

After about a day and a half searching for possible problems it turned out to be a bad ground on the coil i hooked up a ground strap to firewall and the beast fired right up thanks for trying to help this issue.
