Hi all,

Can anyone fill me in on how the seat belt warning is setup on a 76 cutlass? My light doesn't illuminate and no buzzer. Looked under the dash and I didn't see anything obvious missing or unplugged. It looks like older cars had a buzzer under the dash that was wired to the light. It looks like my light electrical connection might be integrated into the printed circuit. GM might have had enough time by this point to reduce cost and integrate things more - Just not sure where to start with this. I have a service manual but nothing in there.

Figure 12-12, the Cutlass wiring diagram. The seat belt warning components are right at the top center of the diagram.
Figure 12-50, page 12-33 is the seat belt diagnosis flowchart.
