68 442 How do I know what signal switch I need to order?

The are no marking on mine other than a date. I need to order one and it looks like there was a Delco and a BPM but I can't find anything specific that tells what to order. Its for a 4speed non tilt. Here is a pic if it helps at all.

IIRC "most" Delco units were white plastic and Boyne was blue plastic.

Rock auto may have what you need:

Mine was brown plastic. I ordered the Delco and it worked fine.

I'm willing to bet that the two designs are interchangeable. Consider that there was only one upper steering column housing that they bolted into, only one dash harness that they connect to, only one turn signal lever (yeah, cruise and non-cruise, but you know what I mean), and only one cancel cam. If there was a functional or dimensional difference between the two, these parts would likely need to change to match.

You are probably right. I just membered working on a car a few years ago (66 Chevelle ? maybe) that I was sent the wrong one and found out there was two designs. When I saw 2 designs for this one I thought I would run in to the same issue.
