my 56 just started, engine not turning off with the key do I need a new ing switch? or something else is wrong?

 

I that switch is like a 54, it actually has terminals on it with a screw for each wire. It might be one of the screws is loose and that could cause your problem. That is probably a little far fetched but worth getting your head under the dash and checking. Otherwise, I would suspect the switch.
