1997 Oldsmobile Achieva LED conversion help needed!

Hello! I recently acquired a Achieva with less than 50K miles and want to upgrade the headlights to LEDs, but I'm running into a problem, the OEM lights are 9004s but Sylvania only makes 9007s that fit in the OEM housings, they fit fine but when the lights are on, the highbeams are the only lights on, and they stay on until turned off by the switch. No lowbeams at all. What bulbs will work or what do I need to do to make these work?

If the OE bulbs were 9004s and you swapped to 9007s make sure the wires going to the connector match the pins on the bulb. Check it out!

So in short I have to swap around the wiring and they will work?

Yes. Use a soldering iron or wire crimping kit to make the splices. Don't forget heat shrink.
