1969/70/71/72 AM/FM stereo ID, needing an amplifier.

Hello to the forum. First and foremost I need help in ID'ing a stereo I may have a chance to purchase. It is certainly an Oldsmobile unit, the face has both the AM and FM numbers showing at the same time, I do know that many of these radios would feature numbers that would flip back and forth when the selector lever would be moved left or right. This unit does have the selector lever. What it is missing is the amplifier I have been reading about that sits on top of the area where the glove box is located. The radio does have that thick black wire coming out of it which ends in the plug looking like an old vacuum tube goes onto it. I will try and get a picture of the face so perhaps somebody in the forum can ID it for sure. For now numbers on the tag are as follows: Service # 93EFMA1, Serial # 3Q-04862, Product # 7307823. And, does anybody have an amplifier kicking around by chance? Even if it needs repairs at least it is something that is a start at least. The sad thing is I had a complete stereo, with the under dash tape deck, and other parts that disappeared years ago when I moved from Montreal to Toronto, then went back a week later to get the rest of my things. So goes life, but things do balance out in the end as we all know. Thanking the forum in advance, Howie

A little deeper digging makes me think it may be from a '70 Delta, I see one advertized on Evil-Bay, the amplifier - the missing equation, from what I can see the numbers to be, are Service # 038FM1, Serial # 1037586 or 8, Product # 731919 (I think the last number is a 9!). Thanks again in advance! Help! Howie
