1968 350 to 455 Battery Upgrade or Not?

Putting in a 455 in my 1968 Cutlass. It looks like in 68 there was only one size battery tray for the 350 and 400 engine. Should I change the battery tray out to a larger one so I can put in a larger battery. I see in 1970 they list a different size larger battery tray for the 455.

Did the 1968 Hurst Olds come with a larger battery? Has anyone made this change. If so, how did you do it. Just want to try to do it right.

Thanks!

Given that you can get all the Cold Cranking Amps you could possibly need in a "regualar" sized battery, I don't see a need to install a bigger battery tray so that I could buy an even more-expensive battery to fill it.

When these cars were new, a Group 27 battery was what it took to get high CCA. Not so, any more.
