1967 Throttle linkage switch ID help?

I'm still sorting through the 66-67 parts collection and inventorying.

I found 3 throttle linkage switch assemblies.
2 with switches and one without.

What engine/trans does each fit?

Thanks

The top pictured unit is a 66/67 4 barrel standard shift throttle mechanism. The other two are automatic.

Are #2 and #3 switches based on type of auto trans? 2spd vs 3 spd?

The round switch is more 66 which would be a 2 speed and the square is more 67 and could be either 2 or 3 speed automatic..

See if there's a part # moulded into the AT switch body. That will help us narrow down the application.

Per Nov 73 parts book there's one switch that fits all 65-67 A/B/C cars regardless of transmission, and one that fits Toronado. Then each application has a heavy-duty/trailer towing version. Some of the original numbers were consolidated and superseded by that time.

If Cfair sees this post he's very knowledgeable on these switches and has rebuilt several of them.

I believe the two with switches are actually the combo switch pitch and kickdown switch for 1965-1967 switch pitch transmissions. Could be for an ST300 in midsize or Turbo 400/425 in fullsize/Toronado. My memory is not good enough to get more specific.

For those asking, I'll be taking a variety of 66-67 Olds parts to Homecoming swap meet in Lansing.

#2 is a Littlefuse switch that came on some 66 big cars; #3 looks like a Cutlass piece to me since it’s a fixed switch. The big car switch-pitch kickdown switches were adjustable.

These clean up nicely with a bit of attention. The only real problem with them these days is that the switch contacts are frequently worn past usefulness and no one makes replacements. However with a bit of solder and some careful filing, you can bring them back to life.

Somewhere around CO I wrote a thread on how to service and clean these things.

Cheers
Chris
