Looking for a wiring diagram for a 1967 Olds Ninety Eight, for the convertible top. We have one that is not working and is electrical related.

This post is 13 years old, the OP posted once 13 years ago and has not posted since. So, an answer from the OP is highly unlikely. With that said, another CO member may find your question and find a diagram for you. If you want a 1967 Olds Ninety Eight convertible top wiring diagram, I believe it is contained in the PIM or the Fisher Body Manual. I don't have either of these. WildAboutCarsOnline may have a copy of the PIM and I believe there is another CO member who has shared out some PIM and/or Fisher Body Manuals. You might perform some searches for convertible top wiring diagrams. Good luck!

The only PIM I see for the 1967 year on WildAboutCarsOnline is for the 1967 A-Body models - nothing for a 98. Others may know if it may have been included in the CSM, but most years the convertible top wiring was stuck in either the PIM or the Fisher Body Manual - I can't recall which.

Which wiring diagram is it you need 1967 98 or 1968 98? I thought you were looking for the convertible wiring diagram but I guess that's just because you found a thread regarding 1967 wiring diagram. OK. Let me see.

 

Yes I need 1968 Olds 98 wiring diagram for ignition. Was trying to install a pust button start on it

 

So, I don't have time at the moment to review the specific wiring diagrams, but there are two sections of wiring diagrams for the 1968 production year which includes all models. To d/l the diagrams requires a membership to WildAboutCarsOnline (which I have), but I don't have the time as said to find which diagram you need for ignition. The membership is not expensive.

The wiring diagram should be found in the chassis service manual, CSM, for that year I would think.
