electric issue or bad starter switch.. Im trying to figure out how this wire circuit works.
I did continuity test on the switch and it dose not make contact to any other post or ground .
I bought a new temp sender.. my cold and hot lights where working before started re wiring the engine bay.
That wire is what causes the hot light to illuminate when the key is in the start position as a test to show that the bulb is working. Circuit continuity only occurs when the key is in the crank position.
thanks, danktx , aww i do remember when cranking motor it illuminate then off after starting.
i have not install the new sender, buy did a continuity test the new. one only shows continuity between the body and one prong, will that one be the ‘hot’ lead .
i have the car in storage and will try and get to it tomorrow ..a lot of rain here in calif.
