Need info on 57 olds insigna and ID
I've purchased a '57 88 sedan post and it's delivery is pending. It needs total restoration although it does run. Previous owner says he dosen't know if it is a Super but that it does have a Super engine. (?) So did '57 Supers include 4dr posts? Also Fusick and USA Parts Supply have fender insignia but I find few pictures of '57s with any at all. What is the correct insignia and its location on this car? Thanks much for any help.

Four door sedans were available in all series. The series ID is on the front fender (Super 88 and Ninety Eight), bright trim below taillights (88) or decklid (Ninety Eight).
When you get the car, look on its body data plate and VIN plate. They'll tell you what series car you have.
88 VINs start with 577, Super 88 with 578, Ninety Eight with 579.
