I've never seen them side by side, but I believe the only differences will be the holes for the trim.

73 is a one year only fender according to Hollander interchange. Henry

I'm pretty sure that's because of the holes for the one-year-only "louvers" on the sides, but I'm not completely sure.

Interchange manual does not consider molding holes. If I wanted to guess it may have to do with the 5MPH front bumper fitment. 72 does not have the lower valance like your 73 has. Henry

That I did not know. Thanks!

Yup, that'd be it, then! The '73 has a bit more of a cutaway around the bumper to fit the rubber gaiter.

As for other years, I believe that the subsequent years all had different shaped sidemarker light holes.

Here are a few pictures I was able to find, for the benefit of future readers (sorry about the extra mouldings on the '71):
1971 -
1972 -
1973 -
1974 -

I just read this post......if you haven't found a fender yet, you might want to try this vendor.,,,,,Chicago Auto Parts.......815-614-3122.
His name is Kurt, nice guy, very helpful. I have bought many items from him over the years.
I know he has some NOS fenders...all "B" body stuff.....he may have a fender for you. I know he has a lot of stuff.
If you have a part #, you could search his on-line data base. Hope this is helpful.
