Rechroming plastic
Keep in mind this process is generally very expensive so if you can find a reproduction or a replacemnt it will most likely be cheaper.

Totally depends on the model, sometimes it is easier and more economical. Try a search on this subject, there has been several threads just recently with a great deal of pertinent information that can help you make an educated decision.

Yes, they're the same. I bought my reproduction armrest bases and pads from Ames Pontiac (listed for a '66 Bonneville). Much cheaper than having originals rechromed/reupholstered.

These seem to be the correct ones for a 67 Delta

The seller also has them without the pads for cheaper

Ames sells the set for much less: https://secure.amesperf.com/qilan/De...6&web_access=Y
Edit: The link above is for an incorrect set (front doors of a 4-dr car). You should try calling Ames to be sure of the right part. The Tamraz link you posted does look to be the right one. I know the bases are notched at the front lower corner for the paddle handles. The pads have a notch for the hand pull area also.

plastic chroming
They turned out beautiful.
Cost me $ 35.00 each plus shipping. The turn around time was about 3 months so if you're in a hurry, you may want to explore other options.
If you want the contact info, let me know.
