Here is one for us Delta guys. This is the original "G-machine!" Boy, I love that color {palm green} and that helmet. Later, Ken http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efnk49hdYUQ

That is exactly what my car looks like, same color and all. Only difference, I have a 2 door not a 4 door. Thanks for sharing. I think it's a cool commercial

Here is my 1971 Delta Royal, Palm Green, "G-Machine. She handles pretty good and has a "little" pep. I have a 1971 Old 98 also plus about 10 other Olds. Later, Ken GreenMachine.jpg

The "Green Machine" is sweet. A convertible.......you lucky bum. When you say it's got a lil pep, does that mean it's got a Rocket 455 too? Love my Rocket, it impresses all the guys. LOL They like the Holley 650 double pumper too. I'll get some pics of Sweet Pea on here in the next day or so.

Hello, Mine has the original 455 engine. It is a stock rebuilt with a 268H Comp.Cam, Performer intake with Holley 670cfm, Crane ignition module in the stock points distributor. I put a set of 68/72 A-body tube headers that I had laying around(a little masaging to fit) dual exhaust with torque tube(equalizer) between the pipes. It has a Sat-nite converter(one step up.) Even though it has a 2:73 peg-leg(non-posi) it moves out good. I had most of the performance parts laying around collecting dust so no cost. That camshaft & lifters I have had in three engines. I love that cam for a lo-compression engine, pulls good to 5000 rpm's with just a little lope in a 455 but more noticable in a 350 engine. I have a posi I probably will put in this year but with gas prices I probably with keep the 2:73 gears. I will be looking for pic's of yours, later, Ken

Took these shots last night. I'll also have you know, you have jinxed me. Guess who needs brakes??? You can see the cancer around her real wheel well. I don't believe in body puddy so it'll be a while before I have the funds to fix it proper.
