I pulled the rear seat out of the 67 Delta so I could get the rear upholstery panels out - those and the door panels are on their way to SMS for recovering. Naturally there is a nearly pristine built sheet stuck in the seatback springs. Why can't I ever find these in cars where it would matter, like the fully loaded 68 W-30 or the Fremont-built 66 442 convertible?
Well that is cool, and so nicely intact as well. I wish I could have a build sheet for my '67 Delta, but it's Lansing-built, so I haven't found one and am not expecting to. At least, there wasn't one on the gas tank when I pulled that out, and there wasn't one stuck in the springs of the rear seat when I pulled that out to reinstall seat belts.

I was scratching my head over that also. At first I thought those might be things Fisher Body needed to care about, but Fisher didn't install the steering wheel and they did care about the A/C for the firewall piercings, so that couldn't be right.

I've seen those asterisks on many build sheets. Some of the * seem to be on items that are standard features of the car. But don't take that as a hard and fast rule.

You know the answer to the W30 question. The Fremont one? A mystery; perhaps the PO(s) have had the car apart? Just guessing. Have you taken the fuel tank out of the Fremont car? That's where they seem to be notorious for putting them.

We have a winner! Yes, the RPO codes with the asterisks correspond exactly to the standard equipment list in the SPECS booklet for the Delta (as opposed to the Delmont, for example).
Speaking of build sheets, I found mine on the floor underneath the back seat of my 69 Delta. Alot of info, but very cryptic to a novice like myself. I did learn that my car was built in Kansas City and shipped to Krause Oldsmobile in Milwaukee, WI. We're convertibles built in KC ???
Joe your build sheet is in a lot better shape than mine. I have a 17 October 1966 build date out of Kansas City, Was shipped to Lindahl Olds in Minneapolis and delivered to buyer on 13 November 1966. You have a late build date of 18 May 1967. I guess my Delmont is older than your Delta.
