Bottom opposite side from the lower hose on the engine side of the radiator.

ok and is there a method to taking off the splash guard tabs? i know some can be easy to break if you dont do it right. and does this model require me to drain some from the engine block as well, or just the radiator/reservior

Instead of using the radiator petcock, just remove the lower hose to drain the radiator.

do you mean this one by the battery or is there another hose you mean. i guess if i do it this way i wont have to remove the splash guard, and this would remove all the coolant form the car, reservoir/engine included?

Don’t use the drain, take the hose off. Usually froze up, and the later plastic ones are hard to re-seal.

Drain it the easy way as stated above and get ready for an OSHA violation
