With any of these big convertables look UNDER the car for rust in the floorboards. If an owner let the top get bad and water stood in the floors they can and will rust through. The floors in the back seat normally rust first.
Make sure the top is still secure where it is welded to the rear wheel well. These welds can break loose.
Make sure the doors close without having to lift up on them. This is rarely a problem, but if someone sat on an open door it could have bent the door or the body of the car where the door is bolted to it.
All of these are repairable and only the sprung door would cost a lot to repair. Other than that just take the care you would with any car this old.
If you do buy it you will never want to sell it. These are a lot of fun to drive.

You can also check the driver's side exhaust manifold to see if it goes under the engine or back. If it goes under the engine then you won't be able to run true dual exhaust. This manifold allowed the 65-70 B/C bodies to run dual exhaust:

that 12 bolt is only a cover. That rear is actually a type "O" rear and has 10 bolts on holding the carrier. You can search this site as there are numerous posts about that subject. Just so you know...
