radiator replacement

A locally done recore is your best option. I ordered a new one thru USA Parts Supply several years ago and the company that custom built it "per original design and specs" didn't come close to matching it- it was fully 8 inches too short top to bottom. Then when I tried to contact them to get the right part, nobody there spoke a word of English. USAPS finally took it back and credited my CC for it.
I went to an obscure little radiator shop several miles out in the country and three days later had my newly recored radiator in my Starfire.
What a competent shop will do is measure your original core and order it by those dimensions.

Hollander says no, but 1961-64 Olds (big car) should interchange (but the numbers will be different). A/C & special cooling are different from cars without, and bottom tanks are different between auto & manual trans. They say that the core on the A/C radiator should be 25-1/4" x 18-3/4" x 2-5/8".

how about measuring and ordering a aluminum one some are reasonable nowadays you just need to do the homework through the usual sources, By the way get the thickest you can for better cooling overall.
