I have a base super 88 single exhaust, can anyone give me measurements, length is the inlet offset or center and the outlet offset or center? what exhaust or muffler do you have and if u have a suggestion maybe a part number... thanks

 

I assume that this is a 1963 ?
Factory part number for muffler is 587579 in the 1963 book.
In the 1972 book they list a muffler package , with pipe and clamps , part #398156.

 

I can't remember if the muffler length is in the CSM exhaust section or not, but unless you're going for 100% original restoration, any competent muffler shop can hook you up with a suitable muffler. Your money, but I'd spring for new aluminized pipe while you're at it. A good pipe bender should still have his bender's program cards to go by.
