Just bought a 67 Delmont
Some years ago I bought my first Delmont - a 1968 convertible. This is my thread about that car:

After selling it I some other classic cars: a -66 Cadillac convertible , a -70 Dodge Super Bee and a -70 Camaro Z28 RS.
I sold the Z28 about a month ago and have been chasing cars since that. I didnīt find anything interesting here in Sweden so one day I found myself browsing Craigslist. In Portland OR I found this amazing -67 Delmont 88 Holiday Coupe:

After a phone call and som e-mails I placed a bid and bought the car. I will now have to wait 8-10 weeks before it arrives here in Sweden
It seems to be very well kept and untouched. It has a dealer installed AC, it has been repainted some years ago in the original colour, the dual exhaust system is not stock and the hubcaps seems to belong to a ~73 Ford LTD.
Is there anyone here that have seen this car IRL?

That black air cleaner indicates the low-compression version of the 425 with 2-barrel carburetor, and it takes regular grade fuel. That was the base version of the 425. The base engine in the Delmont 88 for 1967 was a high-compression, 260 hp version of the 330 V-8 with 2-barrel carb. All sorts of engine options were available for the Delmont, including both lower and higher hp versions of the 330, and three more versions of the 425, all with higher horsepower.

That is one sharp car! It has been for sale a couple times, and I have kind of followed it over the last year. Love that color combo. Good luck with it. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful coupes ever in design. Simple yet elegant. I would like to add one to the stable one day!

Yes thatīs correct, I hope it will make a nice cruiser! My -68 was a 310 hp 455.

Finally!
Yesterday I received my Delmont. It has been a long wait. For some reason the car sat for over a month in LA before it was loaded in a container and shipped to Sweden.
I started out with washing all the California dust and Swedish snow slush off the car. Came out pretty good:

Thanks guys, no surprises - the car was in the condition I expected, very good!
Unfortunately the weather is not suitable for any test drives but it seems to run very well.
Here are some pictures from when i backed it out of my garage this weekend:
I will make NO modifications to this car except from mounting air suspension and other wheels.
The tank, valves and compressor will fit perfect up here:
Itīs a 4-way system with 8 valves and a 5 gallon tank, similar to the lasts system I built on my Cadillac:
The wheels will polished 20", similar to my previous Delmont:

I picked up ā 68 Delta Custom a few years ago with intentions of painting it in teal. It has the full load interior with buckets and console in parchment. Its in good shape but nowhere as nice as yours. Beautiful
