hood scoop

Hi. I have a 74 delta conv and with the install of my last olds engine for this car I will need to cut the hood. Using an air gap manifold. I've seen 2 online photo's of people that did this and the results are actually very nice. Of course the info associated with the pictures is 0 so I have no idea of what scoop that person used. With the serious ridge in the middle of the hood the choices must be limited. Any ideas? New engine will be done in April or May so I have time. Thanks:

Jeremy

Check out Harwood scoops. They have bolt or bond on scoops.

There is a thread about a green 1971 Delta "442 tribute car" in the build forum. It had an aftermarket 70/72 Cutlass ram air scoop molded onto the Delta hood. I asked where he bought it but never got an answer. About 15 years ago I remember seeing "ram air scoops only" for sale, you would mold it onto your own hood. I like the Olds ram air look. Let us know what you go with. Good Luck, Ken

The guy on the web that had a nice 73 delta's handle was oldsnut. Or something similar. Nice scoop with either fake or real bolts around the perimeter. I bet fake but the look was sweet. Not easy finding a scoop to work and look good on our hoods. Search and you will find his car. Not bad at all.
